Return & Exchange Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days from the date you receive your order. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be:
- In original, unused condition
- In original packaging with all included materials
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
- Free from any damage, wear, or alterations
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and compliance reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Used knives (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Custom or personalized items
- Opened packaging where the security seal has been broken
- Items not in original condition or showing signs of use
Return Process
Follow these steps to initiate a return or exchange:
Step 1: Submit Return Request
Within 15 days of receiving your order, submit a return request using the template below and email it to our customer service team.
Step 2: Approval and Instructions
Within 1-2 business days, you will receive:
- Return authorization confirmation
- Shipping instructions and return address
- Return authorization number (must be included with your return)
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item securely including:
- Item in original condition
- All original packaging and materials
- Copy of your receipt or order confirmation
- Return authorization number clearly visible
Note: We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Knivesand Tools Shop is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.
Refund Information
Refund Processing Time
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing: 1-2 business days after receipt
- Refund Issuance: 3-5 business days after approval
- Bank Processing: 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
Total Timeline: 7-17 business days from when we receive your return
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): Refunded to original card
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the standard shipping cost for the replacement item.
Exchange Process
For exchanges to a different product:
- Follow the same return process outlined above
- Clearly indicate your desired exchange item in the request template
- If the exchange item costs more, you will be invoiced for the difference
- If the exchange item costs less, you will receive a refund for the difference
Exchange items will be shipped via our standard shipping methods once the return is processed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage or defect
- We will arrange for expedited replacement at no additional cost
- Return shipping for defective items will be prepaid by Knivesand Tools Shop
